We are very much an ‘on the ground’ safety team. Having advised and supported some of the biggest international film productions, as well as many acclaimed local productions, our knowledge of the Northern Ireland film environment is second to none. In-studio and on-location, we have a proven track record of keeping film and tv productions safe and complaint, and of doing so in a cost-effective and non-intrusive way.
We are a local, Northern Ireland company, and that means our clients are assured of a highly responsive, personal service throughout all stages of their project.

Eamonn Mc Kenna
Managing Director
Eamonn has been involved for over 11 years in the management of health and safety on film productions and high-end television in Northern Ireland.
Before establishing First Take Safety Ltd in 2020, Eamonn spent 29 years in the Fire & Rescue Service of Northern Ireland as a Watch Commander, the last 16 years in specialist rescue. It is here that he gained his extensive experience of managing risk to ensure the health and safety of both colleagues and the general public.
He has taken his experience and skills and applied them to the management of health and safety on productions
